Gold Medal Wine Club has been operating since 1992 – one of the oldest independent wine clubs in the US. What has kept it relevant across three decades is a simple, genuine commitment: every wine must have won a medal at a recognised wine competition before it qualifies for selection.
This is not a marketing claim. The selection process is real. In three months of the Platinum tier, I did not open a bottle that had not earned its place. A Napa Cabernet from a small family producer and an Anderson Valley Pinot that was among the best California Pinot I have opened this year.
The Six Tiers Explained
Gold ($40/month) – Two boutique California wines, entry tier. Good quality floor, limited variety.
